On Saturday March 23rd at 1pm help Detroit Youth stand up for education and say no to incarceration! No funding for learning but there is funding for prisons?! It is time DETROIT YOUTH take over and adults hear solutions to stop the school to prison pipeline!
Detroit youth will meet at 1pm at Cass Park, 2727 Second Ave, and begin marching at 1:30pm to the Wayne County Jail a mile away to launch their campaign this year for restorative justice resources in their schools… All ages are welcome!

I was so so proud of the Youth of the City of Detroit, until I heard that this activity was funded by the Skillman Foundation. Now I am wondering if we can trust the integrity of what happened on this date. This is the same entity that has conspired with other foundations, private businesses, and government officials to dismantle public education in the City of Detroit and all across Michigan. I am just asking questions?
The most important March of our time,in my opinion the war on drugs have cost us too many casulties, too many broken families, too many broken communities, too many Fatherless children, too many underdevloped and dysfunctional Children, children that growup without Fathers are less likely to succeed or go to college.and most of thease children come from poor backgrounds.we cant fix our City until we fix our community, until we fix the enviorment that we raise our children in.I would love to help organize, speakout, educate, raise awareness.jus dont know how?please dont stop what your doing and call me if i can help?Thank You for careing about people like me.
